XO uses a flexible credit-based pricing system designed to scale with your creativity. Credits are consumed only when tasks are actively processed — so you get the most out of every interaction.
What Are Credits?
Credits are the standard unit of usage on XO. The more complex or resource-intensive the task, the more credits it requires.
How Do Credits Work?
Credits are primarily consumed by:
- LLM Tokens — For prompt parsing, code generation, and agent collaboration
- Virtual Machines & Kubernetes — For file operations, cloud deployments, and CI/CD pipelines
- Third-Party APIs — For external data access, blockchain queries, analytics, and more
Credits are only consumed during active task execution. Completed tasks, saved projects, and deployed apps do not consume credits.

Add-on credits never expire and are used after your monthly credits run out.
