Agent Compatibility Guide
Choose model authentication, interfaces, and messaging channels that match your XO agent.
XO agents share the same space platform, but they do not all use the same model authentication or communication channels. Choose the agent first, then follow only the setup paths listed for it.

The project-creation form and in-space Setup screen are the source of truth for currently available options. Third-party provider and channel support can change independently of these docs.
Choose a model connection
- Use Claude OAuth when a supported Claude Code space should authenticate with a Claude subscription.
- Use ChatGPT/Codex OAuth when a supported agent should authenticate with a ChatGPT subscription.
- Use an API key when you want provider-based billing through Anthropic, OpenAI, or OpenRouter.
Add data and channels
Data sources connect external accounts such as Google Drive, OneDrive, GitHub, and Vercel. Availability and permissions still depend on the space and account.
